Our Probus club,is based in the Romiley Centre, The Precinct,off Compstall Road in the town of Romiley,Cheshire. We meet on the first Thursday of every month and also on the third Thursday of every month between October, November and January to April inclusive. The club is non-political and non-sectarian and is open to retired and semi-retired men.For those of you who are not sure of what Probus is about here are a few facts. Probus is a world wide association with some 4,000 active clubs . Rotary clubs are closely linked to Probus. To date there are over 300,000 members and the object is for the retired and semi-retired profesional and business men in a community to meet socially.We have speakers at each meeting with a wide range of topics all of which are interesting and entertaining. With lunches, wine tasting events and other activities throughout the year, you are sure to find something of interest and enjoyment in pleasent company.Many of our activities include spouses,partners and friends.
